Historic Alambagh rly workshop bags green tag

The green environment work initiative of the historic carriage workshop in Alambagh has earned it the coveted GreenCo Gold rating. The annual certification is awarded by the Confederation of Indian Industry to organisations which meet the environment friendly parameters set by it for work space.

In recent years, the workshop management has emphasised on green supply chain, where it promotes spare parts suppliers to deliver the cargo in packages which can be reused.
